Bypassing Joist

Just sister the joist each side with some 600mm 4x2 and some big screws - you'll have a "4x6" and can notch away.

is there such a thing as a steel plate to fix to a joist when this sort of thing is needed?
Just a flat plate with maybe a chunk missing around the centre and predrilled holes?

It would need to be two specially made steel plates and bolted through the timber. Might a possible solution be running two or three 15mm pipes in parallel, side by side, rather one large pipe?
