Cable fixing

Hi chaps,

I have tried to do a search on this but cant find the answer im looking for.

I was in the loft today and notice my shower cable was just sat on top of my loft insulation between the switch and shower. What are the regs on how this should be fixed if at all. It looks so messy like this and wouldnt mind re-doing it neater.

Well, this could be a can-o-worms situation, but if there is enough slack, move it away from loft insulation altogether, then clip to the woodwork.
