2Kw wall mounted water heater has 1.5mm 3 core pvc circular sheathed cable from fcu. Is heater cable supposed to be LSF cable?, checking books as I type but would appreciate an experts knowledge.

Should be heat resist flex. 1.5mm

afaict a heat resistant rubber sheathed flex would be the norm in this application.
