Does the cable from the Cooker to the terminal outlet box need to be heat resistant flex or anything, - or will a standard bit of twin and earth be o.k.(suitably sized of course).
The installation manual for my new cooker only specifies HO5VV-F pvc flexible cable, - but I cannot find this at good electrical stockists.
 
H05VVF is standard pvc flex. It is not heatproof or anything special.

Standard T&E will be fine.
