Hi All, can anybody please help me out with toilet waste measurements and what sizes I need?

I've ripped out an in-wall toilet as it's been nothing but agro since we moved in nearly 4 years ago, and I'm buying one of these.

I'm a bit confused about the waste sizes I need and don't want to end up with the sh#t hitting the fan!

The old toilet had a reducer on the back and went from approx 120mm to 85mm (external)

The new toilet posted above has a 102mm (external) waste hole.

Therefore what size do I need to go over that 102mm without being too lose and end up getting covered in the messy stuff?

Also the existing waste pipe can be reused? It's approx 85mm?

It also had trim piece that dropped off the end when I removed the toilet does this need to be refitted?

Pictures of all parts below.

Is the white pipe 102mm,im going to guess it is, if so then you need a 102mm elbow cut to the required length then whichever 102mm straight you need to meet the elbow.

Could be 3 & 1/2” (approx 88mm), but then looks like it upsizes again to 4” (approx 100mm) via the flexible pan connector - what is below this, and can this be be changed to rigid pipework?

Thanks guys this is what's below it and will be difficult to reach down to the brown regid pipe and worried about disturbing it, if it comes out of something I'm stuffed.....

THOMP1983, do I just pull that existing elbow out of that white section, then will measure, and then put a new elbow in with silicone around it? But then I need a straight piece with a pan connector flange on the end of it to go onto the back of the toilet?

If I pull that white pipe out can it dislodge the brown pipe further down inside the wall?

Hard to tell, but I doubt it. Steady the brown pipe with one hand if possible and gently pull the flex connector, once that's our you should be able to see better

I've managed to get the black elbow out ther wasn't difficult, and it measured as below.

Bit concerned about disturbing that brown waste pipe as can't get hands down the side to steady it as too tight.

Please see photos below for measurements of that white pipe, what options do I have if I want to retain that pipe and need to end up attaching to a 102mm outlet flange?

I've unleashed a Monster!

Tried to pull the white pipe up and it slipped out of the brown pipe, therefore would it be best to use rigid pipe into that main pipe and then connect up to a outlet flange onto the toilet?

See photos below, the white pipe isn't going to reach the toilet as it's not fully engaged into the brown pipe yet (just resting on it) and it's also on the floor height, whereas the new toilet outlet is 120mm away from the wall.

Measurements of pipes is confusing for me, any idea what size and types of REGID pipes I would need to connect up to that one in the wall and onto the back of a toilet flange?

The toilet outlet is 102mm therefore do I select that first or work my way up from the brown pipe in the wall first and then try and sort it out after?

So I 'think' I may have solved it?

Do I need to get a section of this, cut it down, insert this into the brown pipe in the wall, and then I can use the existing white hose to come off the new section of pipe?

Or instead of the above I should be able to just use one of these? And reuse that white hose, the toilet end of that existing white hose is approx 100-110mm, therefore that should fit over the 97-107 inlet side of the below adaptor? And then I just fit the other end of that adapter to the toilet as the toilet is 102mm outlet and so is this.

Would this work? I don't want any leaks.....

That brown pipe looks like it has a grey piece of pipe inside it, you need to check if it is and if it will come out

You would need to get the small piece of grey pipe that's already in the brown pipe push fit socket out if you want to add another piece of soil pipe. You also need to be sure you can fit the new pan connector once the new toilet is centred and pushed back. You need to measure the distance between the bottom the brown socket and where the centre of the spigot on the new toilet may be. You may be able to just fit a rigid angled/bent pan connector with an extension piece if needed.

Looks like they used a flexi before as the soil pipe down through the floor was off centre and need the flexi to fit it properly.
