I would like to identify what looks like a specialized PIR. It has no brand name or any means of identification. It is a black 'ball' 7cm across and was mounted to overlook the front drive of the house. The 'ball' swivels mechanically in 2D only. The wiring is low voltage and has 6 wires attached to a connector block - the colours are (in order) red, black, yellow, blue, green, and white. The front of the 'ball' is split into 2 parts - the top part looks like a normal lens of a PIR. The lower part contains a lens which could be a camera or some other kind of sensor. This lens is 0.5 cm across and looks like an extremely small wide angle camera lens. I guess the installation is around 10 years old. It generates about 140 mA in ambient light but I cannot tell which part of the device this is from.

I need to identify the brand name so I can work out the wiring diagram. The house has a functional burglar alarm but there was no response when the device was removed. I haven't found where the cable ends up - but not to the alarm panel.

Many thanks

Yep - that's the one! A Voltek Spectrum Colour Camera - SP21 by the look of it.

Not sure what to do with it now but worth a play.

Many thanks once again
