Adding a PIR

Hi guys, just looking for some advice.

I have an alarm system installed on the house, which has 5 PIR's.

I would like to add another PIR to this system, and was wondering if this is a simple job of connecting the wires up inside the PIR and inside the alarm panel. Or should I get an electrician in? I will find out the manual for how to program the PIR to part zones.

More likely than not it's a case of running a cable from your panel to the PIR and connecting the wires. Inside the panel and PIR, you can generally copy what the installer has done. Why not have a look and then decide if you are confident enough to do the job ?
