Can anyone help please

Hi not sure if I'm doing this right, but I'm looking for help with my gas boiler... I've got no heating or hot water and there's a red flashing light on the boiler ...I've checked the pressure and its ok , I've also tried the reset button, the boiler goes through the motions of coming on but then the light starts flashing again ...I'm stumped. Any advice appreciated guys.

 

I think everyone is waiting for a least a clue of what boiler you have. I'm sure people do this as a wind up.
