Can Anyone Identify This Insect - Is It Woodboring?

Found a couple of these in the past couple of weeks in my house. The house has had woodworm in the past and has been treated (many owners ago).

These could be harmless, but I would be happier knowing these weren't woodborers/products of woodborers.

House is in central Scotland. Victorian wood/stone build.

Hopefully the 2 white spots on the back (hard to see in photo) will help identify

looks to big to be cfb,
as you have already googled,iirc the only wood boring insets around that size is death watch or house longhorn,again google is your friend.
 
Put it in a wooden box and see if it makes an escape from Alcatraz.
 
If you are local to a university take a sample of one to their entymology/tropical disease department.
They will tell you for certain what it is.
