Can anyone name this part?

I replaced my toilet the other day. When I pulled the old one away from the wall and disconnected the pan from the soil pipe I noticed that rather than the toilet going straight into a 4 inch soil pipe via a pan adapter as I expected, the 4 inch soil pipe had a 5 inch flange with a rubber seal on the end which the toilet pan pushed straight into.
I removed the seal and chucked it away thinking that a straight pan adapter would go through the flange and sit inside the 4 inch pipe beyond it. However when I did this, I found the new pan adapter wont push far enough into the soil pipe for the toilet to sit up against the wall. It looks like I need one of these rubber sleeves but Ive looked in the normal places (for me anyway, B&Q, Screwfix, Toolstation etc) but cant find what Im looking for. Google has proved useless as I dont know the name of the part I am searching for. Can anyone help me identify the part and tell me where I can get one?
Sorry, no photo. I binned the one I took off as it was probably about 30 years old and it was, well, grim.

What is your soil pipe made of?

The one that goes out through the wall? Pretty sure its plastic

If plastic you might have to find a similar part and buy it to get the seal.

Some types now have the seal somehow bonded to the plastic rather than a removable rubber seal.

It may not be so easy.

A proper plumbers merchant might have just a seal but B&Q have a pretty good range now although only one makers type and you might need something from another brand.
