60LR85 cutout fuse 415v 60amp BS1361 with BS88 500v 60amp???

I suspect you will say no but please confirm, cheers
 
page 228 of the 17th regs lists the BS numbers.

Some BS 88 fuses, have Am on them, they are motor rated

you proberly want the ones with Gg on, for normal / general use
 
I think you know you really ought to source a BS1361 fuse.

The DNOs used to install BS88s, but now only fit 1361s.

I'm not sure why they changed, but they must have their reasons.

It might be the operating curve or breaking capacity or something like that.

What the 17th edition says is irrelevant. Cutout fuses are covered by the ESQCR regs.
