Can i run 15mm pipe from 10mm?

So we had a new boiler and rads fitted a couple of years ago and i’ll be honest i pretty much had the wool pulled over my eyes.

The original pipes to the rads were 10mm so I asked the fitter to run 15mm to the rads out of the floor as i feel 15mm looks smarter. He basically told me he didnt do it, inside just bending the 10mm in a zig zag above the flooring to the rads, making it look a right mess. (See photo)

So now i’ve come to it i’m going to do it myself, however my question is; Can go from a 10mm pipe into a 15mm pipe using a compression reducing coupler and the into the rad?

or is it not a good idea to go from a smaller diameter to a bigger diameter?

No problem at all doing that it will work fine.

How big do you think the waterways in the rad are?

Just think of the 10" of 15mm pipework as a bit more rad

Haha yeah very true, i just wanted to be sure in case it affected the pressure in the system or on the joints.
