Hi all

I have a concrete sub-floor onto which I am building some sleeper walls to support a pan and joists.

Can I use blocks rather than brick? They are not very high maybe 200mm.

If so what type of blocks should I use? do they need to be the high density concrete ones?

It will just be quicker and cheaper to use blocks

Thanks for any advice

Blocks and a wall plate are going to be higher than 200mm, so by the time you have cut them, it will be quicker to use bricks - and remember to honeycomb the wall
