Hi

I have got to locate R10 Rebar - the shape required is a stretched "Z"

Two questions;

1) Is R10 10mm thick?

2) Are the bars made out of mild steel or what?

3) At what thickness would you think it is not bendable at home
(got a good fixed vice and some scaffolding poles)

Would that work on R10?

I've seen it sticking out on construction sites but I have never dealt with it before.

Many thanks.

A good vice and a 1" steel tube about four feet long will work with R10.
If its stools your making then bend a U shape first then bend the legs in opposite direction at the correct dimension.
You'll need 125mm stools for your foundation. You can get concrete spacers for the bottom mat though we usually use 50mm concrete paving slabs smashed up.
