Can This Roof Lantern Be Saved?

Hi,

Another post about a house we looking at buying unfortunately!

Is it possible to replace a blown pane on a roof lantern, or have them repaired? My Google skills have let me down, and I can't find a straightforward answer.

I'm not sure what has happened to this one. It sits on an extension that is under 5yrs old, but to me it looks like this thing has been maybe installed somewhere else previously or something?! Can it be saved?

Looks a bodge, double glazed units stuck together to form lantern , no protection for the edges, so doomed to fail.
