Hi,

Im looking to fit a wider sink in the garage as Im now running a hot supply there. Sink currently only has a cold feed

Behind this wall is the downstairs bathroom and the toilet vent comes up this plastic soil vent and has an air admittance valve ontop

Is there any reason why the vent can't be cut right down, the admittance valve refitted and the whole lot possibly boxed in? Then I can fit a wider sink.

I don't want to move the sink as this is the best place for convenience.

Thank you in advance.
