Hi all,

Where is the zone value for an UFH system normally installed?

Current setup is an S plan, making it into an S plan plus, so additional zone value for the UFH.

Where is the best place for it?

Cheers.

Thanks Dan.
Ive already bought a standard honeywell 2 port valve. Will it not work with this?
If the 2 port value is in the loft where the boiler is and the ufh manifold is on the ground floor is it permissible to extend the zone value cable via a junction box to the manifold where its wiring centre will be? Or is there a limit in terms of cable run length?

Cheers Dan.

As Ive already got it ill see how it goes with the standard and replace with the proper one if it seizes up as you say.

In regards to extending the zone value cable..will 0.75 heat resistant cable be ok or 1.5?

.75m2 HR is fine mate. 5 core is available from Toolstation & all good Electrical Wholesalers
