Can you grout or grout?

Hi all my tiler has completed our utility room and I've discovered that he was supplied the wrong grout. Light rather than dark grey. I wondered if I could regrout over the top of this with the correct colour?

No, the grout would need raking out.

there is an alternative.

Use Universeal Grout Rescue Colour and Seal
