Candy Activa Smart 12 - Can I cold fill only?

Help - this is my first post and I have a kitchen in mayhem!! Fitted new dishwasher yesterday - opposite to sink with new pipes bored through wall etc & cold fill connection to main water. After checking everything except the obvious - the cutlery drawer won't open because dishwasher has bowed front!!

would like to swap w/m & dishwasher over as washer has flat front. However(!), dishwasher is cold fill - the Candy w/m is currently hot & cold fill. Can I have it on cold fill only, albeit it'll take more electric to heat up?

You need a "y" piece connector so that both hoses can be connected to the cold supply.
No problem with having cold water on both inlets.
