We "aquired" with this house a built in candy Dishwasher. Haven't got the model to hand, but it's not massively fancy - integrated jobbie, 55/65 switch on the top edge of the door, along with a rotary programme selector.

I'd guess at around 1997 vintage, as I know it had a new kitchen at that point.

It runs fine and washes fine, as a rule...but randomly (usually apparently on the 65 wash according to OH, which I never really use), it trips the main switch and we lose power.

Switching back on produces an audible "pop" from the washer, but no re-trip. You can immediatly restart the wash and no issue, it completes fine.

As I say, it *seems* to be mostly associated with the 65 degree wash mode.

Any suggestions? It really is random...we could have 1 episode in 3 months, or several in a few days.
