Candy dryer wont turn?

Hello all,

I have a candy Free-standing dryer GCC 591NBB-80.

However it wont turn, it just makes a strange noise when I press it on.

If I manually turn drum with my hand it turns very freely.
Really would like to see if I could repair it rather than get someone out.
Any advice please?

here is a picture from the back of it, if you zoom in you can see a black rimmed cable I think? What is this?

I managed ro pull out thing long snapped object from inside dryer.

Look espares video online, they show how to replace the belt.
It's a 10 minutes job
