My fridge-freezer stopped working, ie, cooling properly, and the diagnosis from our appliance engineer is a 'suspected blocked evaporator', which is not repairable. I was not present to discuss this with him, but since this is part of the cooling circuit, which has had nothing but 'freon' in it, I am wondering, what can cause a blockage? Any comment would be appreciated, thank you.
