Hi all,
I have a Candy GO482 washing machine, it threw up a fault code suggesting a pump fault, I checked the drain and all possible blockages and ended up putting fitting a new pump, so far so good!
Now it throws up 16 flashes code which I believe is a heater fault, If II disconnect the power to the heater element the machine runs without issue (obviously with no hot water!) and completes the cycles, I reconnect the element and the fault code show again part way through the programme and stops. I know this is obviously showing a heater fault but is there a possibility that it wouldn't be this and could be a pcb fault?
I don't want to just keep buying parts and fitting just to find another fault.

Any help or suggestions please?

Sorted, fitted new heater and is now back to working order.
