A lot of ovens will not work unless the timer controller is set.
As your display seems to have power-loss, it would suggest you either have a loose connection in the circuitry to the control panel or the panel is faulty and require replacement.
On occasions and always worth a punt, if you turn the power off to the appliance, leave a short while and turn back on, it may energise.
