I have just found, in my father's Garden Shed his old Cannon Eyelevel FoldAway Grill - same as the subjects of an old thread. I am desperate to get it going again - and install it in its new home in Austria! However, this one is all electric, and I am anxious to get some instructions or even basic electrical information about it. I took 8 hours to clean it in England, before I shipped it to Austria. It worked kinda, in England, and I just switched it on this morning - so it is basically working. But when I increased the heat to about 50% it popped the main breaker in the house. I'm not sure that I will find anyone here who has seen anything like it before, to help me check it out.
Any ideas please anyone. What power does it consume. If functional why would it pop the main breaker? The kitchen wall socket maybe, but everything?
Thanks. Hoping for some info or hints.

show us a photo of this main breaker. Close enough to read the letters and numbers on it.

I expect I know the cause.

Meanwhile, run it on low power a few times. Say, ten minutes each hour.

Is it damp?

Thanks John D, for very prompt reply. I can't take a pic right now but will post a pic of the breakers tomorrow.... I'll also try your the slow warm start advice to dry it out. It wasn't 'wet' but had been in a shed for 13 years. Thanks.
