Problem now solved. Apparently the bayonet fitting had some how unclipped itself!
My daughters all in one cooker uses electric for the oven and gas for the rings.
However, when she tries to ignite the gas rings , the igniter sparks but no gas is emmitted or heard.
The glass top covering the hob rings, when closed, shuts a valve off to the rings and appears to be functioning.
The gas supply to the central heating boiler is ok. I am puzzled by the NO gas coming out at cooker!
Yesterday, the cooker Main Switch was replaced, but don't think this can influence the top rings as the igniter works ok.
I don't think the supply hose can be twisted, can it?
Any ideas please?
Alan
