Cannot tighten toilet seat

I'm trying to tighten my toilet seat, removed seat, after removing one alu cap that's loose on the rubber bung is stuck and I cannot cap from bung for some reason, so I access the screw head to tighten, I tried using WD40 no luck.

Is there any trick to this? It's a Saneux toilet.

IM using an iPads, so that doesn’t work and I’ve tried a few things

Biggest issue with loose Bog seats is water/slime/cleaning products getting between the rubber gasket of the Hinges and the glaze of the pan. Needs removing, degreasing and refitting.

If other part is loose we need to see the photo which you've not attached properly to this thread... I can't see it either!
