Our patio door has dropped slightly and to fix it I'm looking at replacing the butt hinges for adjustable hinges to compensate. The thing is, I haven't been able to figure out how to remove the existing ones. They seem to have a pin through them, but no matter what, the pin won't move.

Any ideas how you're supposed to remove these? I've attached on some photos I've taken.

Use a drift and knock that little pin out, you should then release the main hinge pin

I don't have a drift, but tried a few other items (large nail) and have been unable to shift the pin at all. I take it that it shouldn't matter which direction the pin is pushed?

Have you undone the allen key screws in the side of the hinge?

That's would either have 2 pins one comes out from the top and one from the bottom but I would have said it would have had 2 Allen keys to hold them in. If it's just one pinbpush it up from the bottom. It will take some hitting due to the weight of the door. Just make sure there is not a Allen key holding it in

Seems as though there is a single large pin that is vertical, but is held in place by the pin that is horizontal. Both are solid from the look of it. I don't want to hit things too hard in case I affect the glass in the door.
