Hi, im a student, and in my house this year we have an old looking vaillent boiler. It has a button with a flame on it, a button with a white circle on it, and a button underneath, which i think is the igniter.

We can't figure out how to make it light up, it was lit before, but has gone out, any help would be much appreciated.

Oh, and i've looked for a model number, but couldn't see one.

Thanks in advance, David

Its probably a VCW GB 221H with a square flue.

Press the button with the flame on it and keep it held in.

Then repeatably press the ignitor button underneath until the pilot flame ignites.

Once lit keep the flame button held in for another 10 or 15 seconds, then release slowly.

The pilot should remain lit. If not call the agent.

Boiler may be old but plenty still going strong.
