TO BE HONSEST MATE it could be any where thats assuming u got 1.Uv checked all around out side. uv looked under boiler uv looked under floor. Can u ask the guy who fitted it or the last owner. Or the bloke down the road. We often hav to give up lookin cos time's tikin on.

Completely agree with you BAB. The only reason I haven't pulled out the downstairs radiator is because I'd prefer to tackle this over the weekend. I reckon previous owners had downstairs rads changed to high output and workman forgot to include drain tap. Thanks for all your help just the same.
