Cant find restore points

I want to restore my laptop (win7). I periodically I save a restore point & always call it 'ok' & it has a date stamp.
I now want to go back to one of my 'ok' points & I cant see any of them, I have selected show more restore points, but only goes back to July, I want to get back to May/June.
Any ideas.

has your "disc clean up" removed all but the most recent restoration points

havent got a clue really but that is one off the options if i remember rightly

Had a gooogle, looks like the restore memory just over writes itself so have increased it.
