cant get my lock-in nuts off my wheels

i need to replace the brake pads on my astra for its next mot and recently bought some but when i came to take my wheels of i cant undo my lock-in nut the socket 4 them just slips everytime i put pressure onto it anybody had a similar problem and have a solution?

go to a decent tyre fitters (not kwak fat) and get them to remove them for you. It'll knacker them up (so take a new set with you) but they have a tool for removing them

Used to knock a deep 12 sided socket over them, most times, 19 mill/3/4 i think, used to do the job.
