Cant turn light off again!

I have installed a new light, replacing the rose with terminal ends. I have now identified the correct switch wire but am getting some very wierd results. Two light, two switches. both switches will turn on and off the newly installed light but the other light remains on all the time. Any ideas?

You have not correctly identified the loop-in always live and the switched lives. Have a look in the reference section then try to sketch out what you have actually done and see if you can spot a difference
More description is needed before we can help - perhaps a photo or sketch.
remember there is no particualr agreement on colours in wiring with 3 core and earth cable, so you need to record what is at both ends.
