Capping off radiator pipes

Hi, I need to cap off a couple of radiator pipes which are currently buried in a screen floor. I will gently trace them til they're a couple of inces down, then should I cap them with soldered copper, compression or plastic push fit? I will then protect them from screen filling.

Obviously, I was trying to type SCREED, not screen!!
