HI I HAVE A PEUGEOT 405GTX M REG ISUM TIMES HAVE A TICK OVER PROBLEM ON STARTING I HAVE TO KEEP FOOT ON EXCELARATOR TO KEEP GOING THIS HAPPENS FORADAY OR TWO THEN I PARK IT UP THEN NEXT DAY ALL IS OK ANY HELP PLEASE :D :D

You don't say what engine is in your 405.however,the temp sender unit/switch is usually quite close to the thermostat housing (follow the top coolant hose).It will be screwed in somewhere near here.Normally it's a two wire connection (do not try to short the wires out,you may damage the E.C.U.) Cost about £10 to replace from a motor factors.A haynes manual would help for this and future tasks.Hope this solves your problem.
