Car / TV aerial

Firs time on the car forum.
I am wanting to fit a car radio/CD player in my caravan.
Would the radio work off the TV aerial through a 2 way spliter.

mine works (in the shed) with a strait bit of wire in the aerial aocket

You will get good radio reception on strong signals. I did it for years

I did buy a dedicated FM stereo aerial and fixed it in the loft, and it worked wonders, its like 2 circles one on top of the other, uni-directional, so it recieves all signals all directions. Though of course any bit of metal connected to an FM tuner will normally work!!!! I was just being greedy with DAB stations!!!
