Hello,

I've tried lifting the metal grippers under the carpet as some had flattened (pic 1).

I then tucked the carpet under the grippers using a flat-ish tool (pic 2).

But it comes loose after about a week. Do you know what I might be doing wrong please? Should I try something like double-sided carpet tape to help secure it?

Thanks

It’s called a naplock. A doortrim not gripper. You could do with some carpet spray and a knee kicker to kick the carpet into the trim so it gets trapped on the spikes.
