Hi :)

Could someone please advise what the best way to do the follow would be:

I have a large room which I want to seperate, half carpet and half sanded floor boards. What would be the best way to create a 'strong' divide running down the middle of the room.

The length involved is 3.3 metres. I have found door bars which come in 2.7 metre lengths, nothing longer however.

Is there a 'correct' way of doing this please?

Thanks,

Jon

perhaps you could make your own out of some decent hardwood,plane/router it down to an acceptable profile.

what would you do then? line of carpet grippert 1/2 inch from where you want the carpet to stop and instruct the monkey from carpetworld or similar to glue it down in that area?

work out how much space is needed for the rebate on underside, get carpet glued down then make bar to reqiured dimensions.perhaps stain it to the floor colour before fitting.
