Hi,

I have put Wurth caulk in the internal corners of walls to hide very small gaps between lining paper. I have to apply emulsion water based paint.

I am not sure which type of Zinser sealer should I use on top of caulk to avoid flashing:

I found three different Zinger sealers:

Blue
Red
Brown

Any help will be appreciated.

I use the red Zinsser BIN.

I don't use it because of flashing, I use it reduce the risk of the emulsion crazing over the surface of the caulk. It dries extremely quickly.

BIN is shellac/alcohol based. Clean brushes in household ammonia. Leave the waste ammonia outside for a day, the ammonia evaporates and you are left with water that has white "dust" in the bottom and can easily be disposed of.

I went to screw fix and they suggested to use blue Zinser sealer.
