Cavity Tray Removal

I am building 2 storey rear extension, i currently have 2.4m patio door with cavity tray and weep holes above to external wall, once built this will become an internal wall should i remove the cavity tray to prevent water from entering the property ?

If the cavity wall will become fully internal, I guess it’s not relavent.

You leave it in a install a new one higher up.

problem is its a 3 storey house so will the driving rain at the 3rd storey not just run down to ground floor level and out the weep holes

In that case you need to do as per Woody says….fit another one above the new roof abutment
