cavity wall ties - £1400 quote

Hello, Please can someone advise me about price of cavity wall tie replacement? I recently bought a Victorian terraced house and tried to get 3 quotes for cavity wall tie replacement (surveyor said it was urgent). Only one builder followed through with a quote after much hassling! He quoted £1,400.
The house is about 12ft across front -- front is the only cavity wall.
Is that a fair price?
Many thanks for any ideas, suggestions etc.
I also need new guttering front and back and six roof tiles replacing. Is it likely same guy would/could do all 3 jobs in one go?

We`ll travel from Sussex to you for that £ . My boy used to work for a firm doing that and wall fill/ damp /basement tanking etc. Your guy is over pricing cuz he don`t want the job . Google up some specialist firms - General builders generally don`t want those jobs. . Indeed the price might go up if yours is a 3 storey vic. house and the guttering etc. requires scaffolding to do it safely - the ties would then be easier off scafolding - on their own a ladder with 2 men is sufficient. PS urgent as in it`ll collapse in the next 100 years
