hi I have a problem that maybe somebody could give me a little advice about the cctv system I have has six cameras 5 are working perfect but on one the image is constantly jumping.just started happening recently but it is the most important cam on the system protecting the entrance.. it is a panasonic camera and thats about all I know about it ...do I just buy a new camera or could it be something simple to fix any pointers to the types of problems it could be would be appreciated also can I just get a new camera and swap them over or will it need tuning in or something...
thanks in advance

As a quick suggestion, why not swap the suspect one with one of the five working ones, that will prove if the camera is faulty or not.

Same problem, it's the cable or interference of some sort.

make sure your cables are all tight, assuming you have a DVR or something of the like to record the footage on. Make sure the cables are well connected to Baluns or the BNCs are screwed on tightly.

Id try that before buying a new camera :)

just going to replace the cable i tried a different camera still jumpy...i have a feeling that the cable may have gotten damaged somewhere between the camera and monitor
