I just want to know really If I can setup two ip cameras through a d-link 615
connected to a virgin media always on modem without having to have a pc on all the time.

its just the same as putting a dvr on your router you will have to enable port forwarding and set up an account to forward your dynamic address so you can get onto your cameras, can be a pain in the backside to set up and you need someone to set up your router have a look on youtube there are a few helpfull demos..
