Hi,

Probably a silly question, but what's the difference between a 45A Cooker Control Unit and a 45A DP switch? Are they interchangeable?

Thanks,

PR

Size. The ccu won't fit on a single back box and is usually supplied with its own, much larger than twin box (sometimes with a single socket on the cover).

The 45 DP switch is available in single or twin box sizes.

Thanks. So, the single-gang 'CCU' I've had installed is probably just a 45A DP switch anyway. Heh.

Cheers,
PR

If you thought there might be a difference shouldn't you have found out before installing one?
