CD player

Hi,
My daughters CD player (woolworths pink one approx 2 years old) has broken and I'm trying to find somewhere where I can get the required part from....

What has broken is the little black plastic cd lid fastner, it does nothing bar hold the lid shut!!!

If anyine could help I'd be very grateful as I don't really want to throw it away just for this one bit...

I doubt very much whether you are going to be able to aquire a spare for your cd. Quite some years ago I worked for a service centre doing third party under warranty repairs for one of the largest retailers in this country and nothing came back to our service centre if it had a retail value of under £100 if it was below this value and broke down under warranty it was exchanged over the counter in the shop and then the item was scrapped.

i want ed to say similar, but i didnt.

the "problem" is "cheap stuff" is meant to be binned when anything on it breaks, it will cost more in spares than a new one.
