Hi all, we have knocked through our living room and sadly some coving was damaged. There is now an area which needs making good and Im stuck as to what is the best option. can anyone help. please see pictures attached. Many thanks

you shouldve given this a bit more thought before going to the top like you have and damaging it,you should have using a knife score the plaster coving line and VERY GENTLY remove the plaster.
you might be able to stick some plaster board up(might need a few) to the level/vertical part of the coveing and then using plaster/adhesive to build up and run/pull the remainder,then using a fine filler to make it look even better.
