ceiling crack

Looking for best way to fill a crack across a swirly artexed ceiling, thinking of using caulk rather than filler and is it worth trying to comb it to suit artex, any idea's ?

I'd either leave it alone,, or have the crack repaired and the ceiling skimmed over. Sometimes, you can make things look much worse trying to repair a textured/rough surface,, you'll always notice the repair.
