Hi I have a ceiling fan in my kitchen, its opposite side of the room to my gas cooker, however we do have a combi boiler on the wall in the kitchen, am I breaking any laws by having a ceiling fan or can it create any problems?

Provided the fan doesn't affect the operation of either appliance there's no problem. If you're uncertain, get a gas engineer around to check it's all OK.

A combi if its room sealed will not be troubled by a ceiling fan.
The only problem will possibly be the flame stability of the cooker burners on low settings.
Try it and see. If there is a problem, then don't use the fan whilst using the cooker.
