Hi there,

I just went to change the light fitting in one of our rooms, and came up against three separate cables coming from the ceiling. I guess the blue with the brown sleeve is the switch, so can anyone provide some advice on how I should wire these up in a connector?

If I go to B&Q and buy a three way connector, will this help?

Thanks in advance

Did you not take a photo or notes of how the old fitting was wired?

Thanks Chivers, so like in the photo below?

So the three brown wires are not connected to anything in the light fitting?

Will this item suffice? I guess I just use four of the six connections slots.

Thanks

If it's fully enclosed inside the light, yes. You can snip the unused two off to make it smaller
