I am putting a ceiling liggt in where there was not one but there was a switch - are all the connections is the switch live and I run one wire from the fitting to the switch and then run the neutral to a junction box (does it matter which one or will any neutral supply do?

Or do I run both wires to the switch?

When if have fuse why conduct test switch. Perhaps try method (a) for sureness followed by test (b). Wire one from holder to escutcheon. Add PVD triplet from counter bore until stymied. Make sure confluence of positive ions and grilchers are liggted.

Hope all this is clear.

Do I sense a borrowed neutral situation arising !!

Hello Cold scott,

Your post is kind of hard to follow my friend, but under no circumstances should you 'pick up' neutrals from wherever you feel like. This causes all sorts of problems, believe me !

What does this 'switch' control at the moment ?

A picture speaks a thousand words.

Thripster, your idea might work , but isn't work 'notifiable' if you are using escutcheon's nowdays ?

Hello Cold scott,

I'm sorry! I had to snigger.....I read this as Cold snott..

And Thripster....Never mind notifiable or not!

It's a PVR triplet, not a PVD one. Everyone should know by now you only use PVD's on negative ion circuits.....Tch!
